Google Earth

I think one of the most fun and most valuable things I have ever done with ELLs is Google Earth. The kids were so excited to find their homes both in the US and in their home countries. Latitude and longitude took on a whole new excitement for them! We have taken virtual field trips, plotted historical journeys, and visited other lands-- all from the comfort of our classroom.
